Find Balance Yoga Series

improve balance in your body, mind, and day

TBD
Balancing

What would it be like if you could...

🏄🏻‍♀️ Stand on a paddle board without feeling like you’re gonna fall into the water.

🥾 Feel more stable hiking over log bridges and steep, uneven terrain.

👖 Put your pants on or adjust your shoes without needing to sit down.

✨ Feel less rushed in your day and more intentional and present

So many active and busy people have the drive and discipline to create a practice that will help them improve their balance, but have not seen much change.

  • Trying out random DIY videos on YouTube worked for a bit, but now there's no progress.

  • Hopping from one mindset practice to the next or focusing on "good vibes only" isn't cutting it.

  • And honestly, you have too much going on in your day that figuring out your next step is too much work. You'd rather spend time with your family or enjoying the outdoors.

You need something more than Google tips. You need a guide and a support system.

Enter the
Find Balance Yoga Series 🎉

The yoga series for active and busy people that brings in the focus, accountability, and support to go from wobbly body and restless mind to a more stable and confident mind and body.

I’ve taken what I’ve learned from over 5 years of teaching, various workshops throughout my 15+ years of practice, and training that focuses on making this practice more accessible with teachers like Judy Gudmenstad and Lynn Crimando.

All this is infused into my classes so you don’t have to go through the trial and error rabbit hole that is Google and YouTube.

The Find Balance Yoga Series is more than a bunch of yoga classes. It’s a little oasis from your busy day that gives you the time and consistency to see change in your balance, reset your mind, nourish the way you move, and relax.

Day 5_Moment.1.jpg

You'll receive the benefits of yoga in a container that provides consistency and support so you can

  • Move sure-footedly through trails and along climbing routes.

  • Decrease your chances of falling because of improved balance and increased confidence in the way you move.

  • Have the energy and patience to not snap at the people you love after a long day

  • Stay focused and present instead of zoning out during a conversation or a drive to the grocery store

Participating in a group setting gave me a different perspective [from private classes,] and was valuable both in experience and the financial investment. The options for using props and poses with more movement offered variety and a playful element which I enjoyed.

I continue to grow in a fulfilling way with Jessica's teaching style which fosters the development of the individual to trust their practice.

When are the classes?

Active People

Wednesdays at 5:30-6:30 pm (MST)
TBD

Focus on improving your balance, strength, flexibility, and coordination while rejuvenating and nourishing your body after a busy week. We'll use vinyasa (coordinated movement with the breath), intentional use of props, and myofascial release (self massage via props).

These classes are suitable for people of all levels: beginners, the more practiced, and the less flexible. We’ll move at a moderate to slow pace while linking breath with movement to help you feel energized. Then settle into periods of stillness to notice how your body feels, see where your mind moves, and tune into something deeper than a good stretch.

These classes are intentionally designed to help you enjoy the way you move through the world for years to come.

Imagine what the world would be like if…

  • You didn’t wake up sore every day.

  • You could walk away from working at your desk without a tight neck.

  • You didn’t have to take a week off doing all the fun things because you’re recovering from your last ski trip.

  • Your energy levels felt recharged so you could run around with the kiddos (humans and fur babies alike) and enjoy giving them your full attention.

  • You got time just for yourself instead of having to worry about your to-do list or the other people you care for.

That’s what we aim to achieve with the Find Balance Yoga Series.

Every class I felt distracted and aches and pains when we began. By the end I felt calm, collected and relaxed.

Beth Little, Manager for early intervention services

Even though Jessica is physically located in Fort Collins and I am physically in Detroit, she provided inspiration and knowledge to get me back on the mat after a head injury. Through videos posted and modifications to the standard poses, Jessica gave me the tools to practice without fear. Jessica is truly passionate about what she does....and will share it with you!

A Note About our Pricing

As a way to make yoga accessible to the people who need it most, we're using sliding scale pricing.

You have the option to pick from three different prices based on your financial situation.

  • $177 SUPPORTER - If you would like to provide a $40 scholarship for someone in need.

  • $137 SUSTAINER - If you can pay the regular cost.

  • $97 COMMUNITY - If you would like to use a $40 scholarship.

To access the sliding scale:

If you're taking class online, please use the dropdown menu.

If you're taking class in person, please use the following coupon codes:

  • SUSTAINER to invest $137 for the 8 weeks and pay the regular cost

  • COMMUNITY to invest $97 for the 8 weeks and use a $40 scholarship

This program is for you if:

  • You want the accountability and consistency to practice weekly in order to feel change in your body, mind, and stress levels.

  • You have 1-2 hours a week to commit to your self care. If you have more time to do the replays or bonus practices that are included, that’s extra sprinkles on the cake… but definitely not necessary.

  • You’re an active person that wants to continue moving well as you get older. Each class builds on the skills of balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility. Plus, when we tie in myofascial release, it helps improve recovery time from all your activities.

  • You think trying your hand at something at the edge of your comfort zone is fun and enjoy exploring new ways of movement. We use props in new and creative ways that help you notice something new in your body.

This program is NOT for you if:

  • You’re looking for a sweaty workout. The thought of moving slowly and noticing what your body does bores you or makes you jittery.

  • Trying something new or making small decisions gives you overwhelm. The mixed levels nature of the classes means that there will be a couple options for you to choose how to do a pose.

  • You can’t commit to showing up to class or watching the replays each week. You’ll get the most out of the semester if you’re consistent.

✨ Our Guarantee

Sometimes things don’t work out. It’s nothing personal

If you show up to your first class and decide it’s not for you for whatever reason, you can choose to get a refund minus the price of your first class.

We just ask that you contact us and answer 2 simple questions to help us serve students better in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What's a typical class like?
Before class starts, we go over any questions from the last class and see if there are any special requests for areas of focus in the body. Those requests will be integrated with our balance exercises and techniques.

Expect a class with options to accommodate people of all abilities that blends

  • vinyasa, the linking of breath with movement, to reduce stress and build coordination

  • intelligent use of props to help you improve your balance, play with your coordination, and explore the abilities of your body

  • myofascial release, self massage using props, to bring awareness to your muscle groups and target the knots that make your movement stiff

Will there be replays?

Yes. You can find your replays in an easy to navigate members area. They are available for you to watch within 24 hours of class.

How long do I have access to the material?

You have unlimited access to all bonus material.

You have access to the semester replays until a week after the last replay is posted. If you answer the questionnaire at the end of class, you'll have access to the material until the start of the next semester.

Do I have to show up to all the classes?

No. However, you’ll get the most benefit if you do show up to every one. In case you do miss a class, replays are available. Please note, in order to take advantage of our refund policy, you’ll need to show up to the first scheduled session.

I couldn’t make it to all the classes. Will I get refunded for the classes I missed?

No. All students sign up for all 6 weeks. By signing up, you’ve made the commitment to participate in the whole semester. Similar to going to college, if you miss class, you don’t get refunded your tuition. You have the option to watch the replays.

I signed up for an in person class. What happens if I can’t make it in person because I got sick, had travel plans, etc?

Anyone who signs up for an in person class also has the option to join online if they can’t make it for some reason. Just email us to let us know so we can send you the link. You also have the option to watch the replay.

Please note, because of the small class size, we request that people who select “in person” are able to attend the majority of classes.

I’m interested in taking class in person. Where are you located?

In person classes will be held out of my home studio located by Drake Rd and Taft Hill Rd in Fort Collins, CO. If you sign up for in person classes, you will receive the exact address the day before your first day of class.

What are your covid precautions?

While in the studio, we’ll follow the current city guidelines regarding covid. I am fully vaccinated and have received my booster shot. You also have the option to participate online.

How does your sliding scale pricing work?
In order to make the class more accessible in the realm of payment, there are 3 different pricing tiers to choose from based of your financial ability:

  • $177 SUPPORTER - If you would like to provide a $40 scholarship for someone in need.

  • $137 SUSTAINER - If you can pay the regular cost.

  • $97 COMMUNITY - If you would like to use a $40 scholarship.

There are no tests or questions to verify need since we know the people who take our classes are more than happy to contribute to supporting our community when they have the means to do so 😊

  • If you’re attending online, select your sliding scale choice from the drop down menu.

  • If you’re attending in person, please use the coupon codes SUSTAINER or COMMUNITY to access each option. These will be provided at checkout too.

Where can I get more info about the class? *Ok… no one asked me this, but I’ll tell you anyways.*
