Yoga to support the way you move

My mission is to get more people to enjoy the way they move through the world... especially outdoors.

 

My yoga classes are designed to serve people of all levels and abilities. They focus on:

  • Building strength and flexibility in a balanced way.

  • Giving you the space to explore the ways your body can move to help you learn your limits.

  • Building coordination and balance to help prevent falls and catch yourself if you misstep.

  • Relaxing your mind and nervous system so you're able to think more clearly.

 

By the end of our time together, you'll feel relaxed and energized.

consistency + accountability = transformation

We're all aware of the benefits that having a yoga practice can bring. Things like improved mental wellbeing, flexibility, strength, and stress relief are top of mind.

However, we also know that life gets in the way of our even our most well intentioned plans. The dog needs walked. Just a little bit more time on this project. Dinner needs to be made.

Many of my students tell me that they want to be more consistent with their practice so they can

  • be more flexible and not feel so tight

  • improve strength and do the challenging poses

  • get better at being in the moment and destressing

Cue our 8 week semester classes 🎉 They provide the accountability and support to cultivate the consistency that brings transformation.

Back to Basics

1/18 - 3/8

Go over the foundations to practice yoga safely and effectively for you.​

  • Gain confidence in your own abilities as we move slowly through poses and break down the actions involved to get into them

  • Create strength, flexibility, and balance so you can move around in the real world easier.

  • Increase coordination and grow awareness of what's going on inside your body.

Find Balance

3/15 - 5/3

Improve balance in your body, mind, and day.

  • Stand on a paddle board without feeling like you’re gonna fall into the water.

  • Feel more stable hiking over log bridges and steep, uneven terrain.

  • Put your pants on or adjust your shoes without needing to sit down.

  • Feel less rushed in your day and more intentional and present

9/27 - 11/15

Destress, take your mind off your to-do list, and make more room for self care

  • Learn simple techniques to help you relax through out your week.

  • Release tension held in your mind and body.

  • Enjoy time to relax and care for yourself.

  • Create small shifts in your life that can lead to impactful change.
