Frequently Asked Questions

I'm a beginner hiker. Is this right for me?

- Yes. The trails that are chosen are rated as easy, except for one (Reservoir Ridge). Check the description of the class trail for specifics.

I've never done yoga before. Can I do this?

- Of course! All classes are suitable for all levels. They're great for you as a beginner or your friend who's been practicing for a long time and trying to get you to come to a class.

Do I need to sign up?

- Yes.  Reservations are required.

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

- No. There's no need to carry a mat with you. The poses in class, including savasana, are done standing.

What do I need to bring?

- Layers. Colorado weather is known to change and the temperature difference between a sunny day and a cloudy day can be the difference between an tank top and a light jacket.
- Hiking shoes. The trails that we use are dirt and can have some gravel. Make sure your shoes have good tread to help prevent any slipping.
- Water
- Snacks (as needed)

Do I need to take off my shoes?

- No. All classes can be done in your hiking shoes. If you'd like to take off you're shoes, you're welcome to do so. Connecting your feet to the earth is very grounding and restorative. While not your feet, there might be times where you touch the ground with your hands.

Are there restrooms?

- There are restrooms located at all parking areas either near the trailhead or a little past. Please bring your own hand sanitizer.
